Northend United U15s 2 SOPFC U15s 5
Northend again started a match on the back foot and again conceded a goal in the opening minutes of the match. However they equalised midway through the half when Conan Dunne ran past the Plunkett defence and easily beat the keeper to level the scores at 1-1.
Northend began to settle into their stride and took the lead when Benny Lynas ran on to a throughball to beat the keeper with a low hard shot.
United had much the better possession the rest of the half but an unfortunate short back pass, right on the stroke of half time, lead to an equaliser for Plunkett, to leave the half time score 2-2.
Northend introduced their substitute Gareth Williams at half time and the second half was only five minutes old when Northend's captain, Dylan Little, went down courageously at the foot of the Plunkett striker to save the ball but picked up a facial injury and had to leave the field of play.
With no other substitutes, Ciaran Ferris went in goals and Northend had to play the rest of the half with ten men. United held on until twelve minutes to go when Plunkett took the lead and in the next incident Ryan Douds was sent off, leaving Northend only nine men with ten minutes to play.
Plunkett ran in a late two goals to give them a rather flattering 5-2 scoreline.

Northend United U15s 2 Ballynahinch U15s 0 Saturday 9th April 2011
Northend started off this match at blistering pace and took the lead in the first few minutes, when from a corner, Matt King was on hand to score a bullet-like header.
They increased their lead to 2-0 when from another corner on six minutes, Ryan Douds scored his first goal for the club to give Northend a 2-0 lead.
Northend continued to dominate play for the remainder of the first half and could have increased their lead when first Mark Robinson went close with a shot and then Conan Dunne hit the post from a header from another corner.
As Northend kept the pressure on Ballynahinch, Brendan Lynas was unlucky with another chance but the score remained 2-0 to Northend at half time.
The second half started off very much the same as the first, with Northend dominating play. The midfield of Simon Cunningham, Gareth Williams, Ryan Douds and Conan Dunne were pulling the strings but as the half progressed, Northend couldn't increase their lead further and at the final whistle the score remained 2-0 to Northend
